With almost 20 years of consulting experience, Chris helps companies to navigate business change and deploy technology to realise their strategies. At the core of everything that he does, Chris loves solving problems. Those foundations were developed as a civil engineer at university and have since been established across several industries.
As a partner in Baringa’s commodity and energy trading team, he works with clients to help solve their most complex challenges. Chris is known for being level-headed and unfazed at the peak of even the most complex trading delivery projects. He leads teams to get the job done while developing the skills of those working alongside him.
Chris honed his skills as an advisor to some of the largest oil and gas, power utilities, and commodities trading houses in Europe, the US, and Asia. Based in Singapore, Chris advises clients on the practical execution to deliver their strategic goals including new market entry, trading in new locations, or implementing technology. Chris recently delivered a record-breaking technology implementation that allowed his client to launch a new global LNG trading joint venture.
Chris takes his ‘How hard can it be?’ attitude into his personal life, whether taking on a sporting challenge like cycling the length of the UK or trying to explain the laws of cricket to his two young daughters. Building the Baringa business and his life in Singapore with his family in an ongoing adventure and challenge that he relishes every day.
