Rhiannon started her career in consulting at the Big 4, after graduating from Bath University. Her first project was process mapping on an IT transformation for a local police force, and she surprised herself by how much she enjoyed it! Since then, Rhiannon has been supporting public sector clients on some of their most difficult, messy and pressing challenges. After several years at the Big 4 working across central and local government, Rhiannon joined Baringa in 2019 to grow our fledging public sector consulting team.
Rhiannon specialises in operational transformation across the civil service, improving the ways in which departments deliver public services through more effective, efficient operations. She still gets a buzz of excitement walking through Whitehall and is grateful a job that allows her to tackle some of the most interesting problems in government, alongside teams of passionate civil servants.
Rhiannon is known for her commitment and drive, and thrives in fast-paced environments. There is nothing better than the “ah-ha” moment round a whiteboard when the team feels like they’ve taken a big step forward.
Outside of work, Rhiannon spends her time walking the Pembrokeshire coast path, planning her next travel adventures, or getting stuck into a good book. She recommends any of Patrick Radden-Keefe’s gripping non fiction, or for those looking for more of an escape in their next read, Great Circle by Maggie Shipstead.
