In detail:
Steve joined Baringa in 2024, bringing over twenty five years’ experience with data transformation programmes, and building and leading data teams - with a focus on helping clients achieve their goals through solving complex data engineering challenges.
After studying History at Cambridge, Steve has spent most of his career working for some of the UK’s most respected consulting firms in the field of data transformation and analytics.
Steve particularly enjoys helping his clients solve their most complex challenges through harnessing the power of data. His work includes using new cloud technologies to transform the level of insights clients can achieve, applying the new generation of GenAI models and off the shelf AI tools to transform productivity across back office and customer facing operations, and using intelligent automation to boost productivity.
Steve has worked extensively with government and public sector, telecoms and media, and financial services organisations.
Outside of work, Steve can usually be found providing lifts to one of his three teenage daughters, or out with his dog Preston in the Hertfordshire countryside, and is an enthusiastic (but not necessarily accomplished) pianist.
