‘Twas the night before Christmas: a Baringa Executive Assistant's tale
4 min read 13 December 2024
Twas the Night before Christmas when calendars were clear,
The EAs were reflecting, what a wonderful year.
Laptops stored away, the festivities await,
Sit back and relax, here’s our highlights to celebrate!
Our Mentorship programme went live from Jan,
Coaching our EAs and helping them plan.
Launching our Birmingham office - state of the art,
Ensuring our collaborative culture remains at the heart.
Charity days are fun when they’re planned
Keeping up our BCorp and sustainable brand.
Blackfriars Settlement, supporting the impaired in need,
Picking up litter with Moos Canoes, at serious speed.
At our client relations workshop we gathered to learn,
The importance of networking, and how trust can be earned.
Business Development remains our key goal,
And how this is crucial to the core EA role.
The fifth networking event kicked off with a bang!
We loved meeting our clients and having an in-person hang.
Lucy Chamberlain's talk was so wise and profound,
Our network flourished this year, success all around.
Borderless Baringa saw our global offices grow,
This year we welcomed US and APAC EAs to the show.
Scheduling across time zones and meeting new faces,
Video call backgrounds showing new places.
Internal initiatives continued to expand,
With EA champions working hard, building their brand.
Wellbeing, Neurodiversity and DEI to name a few,
The kindness campaign central to all that we do.
And who could forget the social delight,
Watching EAs do Gangnam Style, oh what a sight!
At karaoke they danced, and sang in the mic,
In the bowling alley we saw some get a strike!
Our biggest achievement came as a surprise,
Nominated for ‘Team of the Year’, what a prize!
Receiving ‘Highly Commended’, our first award won,
Big thank you to the Baringa EAs, for all that you’ve done!
So here's to the heroes behind the scenes,
Who work with our Partners, solving problems unseen.
Merry Christmas to you and all of the cheer,
Have a lovely festive break and a Happy New Year!
