What’s something people would be surprised to know about you?
People are often surprised to learn that I’m really into horse riding. It’s completely different from my work in energy strategy and analytics, but I love the challenge, the connection with the horse, and the sense of freedom it gives me.
In detail:
With a background in PPA optimisation and portfolio risk analysis, Reyhaneh took her expertise from Zurich to London to put analytics into action. Armed with a master’s in Energy Science and Technology from ETH Zurich and published research on portfolio optimisation, she helps large energy users, developers and utilities turn complex data into strategic decisions.
She works with large energy users, utilities, and developers to structure and price PPAs, optimise portfolio risk, and navigate an energy market in transition. Whether it’s designing portfolio strategies for energy generators or evaluating the impact of weather and commodity price fluctuations on revenue, she brings a strategic lens to analytics. Reyhaneh builds tools that assess portfolio value and risk, helping clients understand how different asset classes, commercial structures, and market dynamics shape their exposure and opportunities.
For large energy users and corporates, she uses detailed modelling and analytics to help them develop and execute robust and credible renewable energy strategies. This includes developing Baringa’s Energy Source solution to help clients manage their energy position and risk on an ongoing basis—covering PPA evaluation, risk management, and energy hedging.
When she’s not deep in energy modelling, Reyhaneh is either galloping through open fields or lost in the world of theatre—drawn to the rhythm, storytelling, and moments where everything comes together at just the right time.
