In detail:
Prior to joining Baringa, Andrew was CEO of Energy Networks Australia (ENA), the peak national body representing electricity and gas network businesses throughout Australia. Before the ENA, Andrew held numerous executive roles in the energy industry, including at AustNet Services, EnergyAustralia, the Energy Supply Association of Australia and as a senior adviser in the Victorian Government. He is also a former Director of Goulburn Valley Water and the Australian Gas Industry Trust and was a member of the Hydrogen Strategy Group led by Dr Alan Finkel.
As a Director in Baringa's Policy & Regulatory practice, Andrew brings his extensive experience across industry and government, and combines this the deep energy expertise and commercial insight of Baringa's Australian and international teams.
Andrew grew up in country Victoria near the Twelve Apostles and now lives with his family in Kyneton. He enjoys cycling around the Macedon Ranges and developing his fledgling motivational speaker skills as a junior soccer coach. Andrew has long had a fascination with how policy and politics shape the energy decarbonisation journey, both in Australia and around the world.
