"Organizational performance is so inherently linked to people performance. Now more than ever the war for talent is fierce, employee expectations are diverse and varied and the role of leaders post Covid requires adaptability and pastoral ‘peripheral vision’. We work with our clients to unleash organizational performance through people potential."

In detail:
Catherine’s fascination with culture and behaviours stems back to her university days where she graduated in Anthropology and Sociology from Durham University. On a professional level, Catherine has over 13 years consulting experience across both Baringa and Big 4 firms. Since joining Baringa in 2017 Catherine has worked on large scale people transformations across all industries. In 2021 Catherine was promoted to Director within Baringa’s People, Talent and Change team and heads up Baringa’s response to workforce transition and culture.
Catherine’s primary focus is to help clients deliver their organizational change and people strategy. From capability assessments pre/post mergers, leadership behaviour development ahead of large scale change, to delivering talent strategies and cultural interventions in order to drive people engagement and organizational effectiveness. Catherine often finds herself working with both C-Suite leaders to operational teams in order to ensure top to bottom change. Crucial to people change is Catherine’s focus on the identification of mechanisms and metrics that can be tracked to assess change; be it improving the conversion of talent successors into the allocation of new roles, reducing absenteeism in a post covid hybrid working world, to improving employee engagement scores.
Catherine works across industries, bringing pan organizational insights. Now more than ever clients are wanting to turn people offerings on their heads with a pull from more traditional firms to offer some of the ‘pick and mix’ approach to reward and wellbeing that the new ‘Fin Tech’ companies have brought to market so quickly. Catherine works with client to share these insights and crucially assess their applicability as part of that organizational wider Employee Value Proposition and Culture.
Outside of work Catherine has a young family and is passionate about championing female leadership. Close to Catherine’s heart is her own journey in the professional environment with dyslexia. Accepting and embracing neurodiversity has been a personal experience and now Catherine works closely with Baringa to encourage breadth of inclusion and diversity within the workplace.
