In detail:
Catherine is a partner in our government practice focusing on largescale transformation. She leads teams working with senior civil servants in complex situations to design organisations and their services and then to deliver the change.
Catherine is passionate about working with people to design and improve how government delivers services and the citizen experience. She originally worked for a county council in frontline services, and has had the privilege of doing work that genuinely makes a difference for people, which has shaped her values and approach to how she works with clients. She believes that we can collectively bring about change and do great things, when we bring great people and capabilities together.
Before joining Baringa, Catherine worked for a large consulting company and a global tech company. She has worked with public sector clients including Whitehall departments, law enforcement, justice, health and defence, as well as energy and infrastructure organisations. This has included setting up an Arms’ Length Body during the pandemic; designing op models at functional (including operations, data and analytics), enterprise or cross-organisation (including trade, defence, policing, ALBs); leading change or architecture teams for large agile programmes; and, understanding Ministerial policy priorities and assessing against departmental existing and future commitments.
Outside of work, Catherine spends time with her husband, two daughters, family and friends. She loves being outdoors, particularly long distance hiking, and is usually training (in all weathers) for an ultramarathon hike. As her daughters get older, she’s looking forward to returning to travelling more outside the UK, including to visit friends in Kenya.
