In detail:
Darren joined Baringa from KPMG where he led Client and Market Development, and the Technology, Media and Telecom sector for Asia Pacific. He has over 30 years’ experience spanning the IT, telecoms and management consulting industries.
As a partner in Baringa’s Singapore team, Darren will provide strategic, operational and transformation advisory services to our Asia Pacific clients. Darren is passionate about helping his clients drive digital transformation and implement innovative strategies to enhance their business operations.
Darren has led several strategic initiatives to help define new operating models as well as large scale technology data and system deployments. One example is where he supported a client operating in over seven markets across Europe and Asia by centralising data science while allowing market-specific customisation and localisation. Another is where he led a large-scale transformation involving the decommissioning of a major data platform, managing the data migration strategy, and delivering the project within a tight timeline.
Originally from Sydney, but now based in Singapore with his family, Darren enjoys leisure treks rides and the occasional game of golf. Darren prides himself on being naturally curious, and always looking to understand and learn about different perspectives, backgrounds and why people say and do things they do.
