David is a Partner executive in the Financial Services practice at Baringa, who brings over 21 years of experience in the Banking and Capital Markets industry. He specializes in business and technology strategy, digital and data transformation, regulatory compliance, risk management, enterprise program and organizational change management, target operating model, and complex customer experience and engagement. David has deep expertise in Consumer/Retail, SME Business and Commercial Banking, Credit Unions, Wealth and Asset Management, and Capital Markets.
Before joining Baringa, David was a Partner/Principal at EY (Ernst & Young, LLP) and started his career at Accenture. He has worked extensively in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean, previously serving as a Consulting leader across the Cayman Islands, Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, and Turks and Caicos region. In 2021, he received the Global Leaders in Management Consulting Excellence in Engagement Award from Consulting Magazine.
David is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) with expertise in Six Sigma, Lean, Agile, and program and portfolio management methodologies. He is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) with experience in financial crime and fraud management. He holds B.S. and B.A. degrees with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Certificate of Business Excellence and Global Banking Program: Fintech, Digital and Analytics from Columbia University Business School, and completed the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
Outside of work, David is passionate about serving on community organizations, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and The Plus Collective executive boards. He can also often be found enjoying photography and scuba diving while traveling, and spending time with his niece and Australian Shepherd rescue mix.
