In detail:
Edward joined Baringa in 2020. He has extensive experience building AI enabled solutions with clients across multiple industries. With an MSc in Machine Learning and Data Science, he excels in leading enterprise-scale AI projects and leading high-performing data science teams.
With a background working in the telecommunications industry and running a UK networks data science team, Edward has also worked in senior positions for different consultancies solving client’s complex challenges. Known for his expertise in developing innovative solutions, he is great at both strategic leadership and hands-on technical work.
Edward particularly enjoys helping his clients solve their most complex challenges through harnessing the power of AI. His work includes using new cloud technologies to transform the level of insights clients can achieve, applying the new generation of GenAI models.
Edward led Baringa’s recent AI work with ENA. Using a series of AI models, they streamlined the application process for low-carbon technologies (LCTs), enhancing efficiency and data quality for Distribution Network Operators (DNOs). The work was shortlisted for the MCA Awards 2024 and more information can be found here.
Outside of work, Edward is an avid sports fan, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and enjoys exploring Delamere Forest with his wife and son.
