Ellie joined Baringa in 2023, bringing twenty years’ NHS experience across industry and consulting. She spent the first half of her career working in the NHS in a number of senior operational and strategy roles. She is passionate about driving improvement in the NHS and brings her frontline experience, purpose and understanding to all of her projects by putting people at the centre of everything she does.
During her consulting career, Ellie has led large and complex transformation programmes across a range of areas including organisation wide performance optimisation (quality, financial, operational), new models of care and clinical pathway redesign, national evaluations and ALB operating model assessments, and system wide integration and reconfiguration.
Ellie is an inclusive and collaborative leader, who is a notable advocate for recognising personality diversity within professional services through involvement in DE&I initiatives. Ellie was runner up in the MCA Management Consultant of the Year award in 2023, being recognised for her commitment to improving public services and for rolling out initiatives in support of inclusivity.
She loves running, scuba diving and travelling, and now has a young son who she hopes will adopt similar passions. Ellie is also a trustee of an early years’ charity which is very rewarding, and over the years has given a lot of her time to volunteering for various charities.
