In detail:
Geri supports financial institutions to understand, assess, manage and report on a range of sustainability issues.
As the Partner leading Baringa’s Financial Services Climate and Sustainability team in Australia, she’s passionate about helping her clients to make a positive impact and use their influence as stewards of capital to drive “real world” change.
Geri joined Baringa from KPMG where she was the National Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Lead for Financial Services and Global ESG Lead for Asset Management. Her experience spans banking, investment and consulting across Sydney and London, including five years as Co-Head of Responsible Investment at Aon in the UK, providing investment advice to institutional investors. Since returning to Australia in 2023, Geri has worked extensively with financial institutions to support their readiness for mandatory climate reporting.
Throughout her career Geri has been a passionate advocate of improving inclusion and diversity outcomes across the wider financial industry, and one area particularly close to her heart is that of disability inclusion and representation.
Geri is mum to two young boys and loves music, dance and sport. She can be found most weekends volunteering on the sidelines of a rugby pitch, or during the week supervising an early band rehearsal before work.
