What’s something that would surprise people about you?
I was awarded the Freedom of the City of London in 2015 having become a member of the Worshipful Company of Founders due to my achievements in Engineering. 

In detail:

Hannah is passionate about the need to decarbonise our energy system and use this as an opportunity to create value, whether that be for corporates, generators or suppliers. Hannah advises clients cross-sector on their corporate decarbonisation strategies for scopes 2 and 3, including PPA strategies, asset investment cases, and energy hedging.

Hannah works closely with large energy users, such as water companies, data centres, airports and retailers, helping them to credibly decarbonise their scope 2 emissions, whilst managing an increase in overall power demand.

With the Greenhouse Gas Protocol’s current consultation on scope 2 emissions reporting standards and growing public scrutiny on the credibility of renewable energy claims, many businesses are considering how they future proof their energy strategies and ensure they are robust and credible. Hannah uses detailed modelling and analytics to help clients navigate these questions and challenges to develop and execute on robust and credible renewable energy strategies. This includes using Baringa’s Corporate Power Solutions tool with clients to help them manage their energy position and risk on an ongoing basis, including PPA evaluation and risk management, and energy hedging.

Prior to Baringa, Hannah worked in corporate strategy and sustainability across both consulting and industry at Monitor Deloitte and Severn Trent Water, a FTSE100 company, respectively.

Hannah loves getting outside to explore the great outdoors and has done a range of long-distance challenges, mostly on two feet but sometimes on two wheels! She is also an avid Arsenal fan and tries to get to several games each season – both for the men’s and ladies’ teams!
