In detail:
James is a chartered mechanical engineer by training. Prior to joining Baringa, he worked in the research and development of green technologies for the home. When James moved into consulting, he brought this passion for green energy and decarbonisation with him, as well as an engineer’s eye for problem solving.
James has worked extensively across UK utilities and oversees Baringa’s global retail energy practice. He has been at the heart of many key transformations shaping the sector, and regularly shares perspectives on important topics such as sustainable homes, market reform and financial vulnerability. James has a clear outcome focus and an extensive track record for delivering high returns on investment, striking the balance between customer, people and profit.
James lives in north London with his family. When time allows, he enjoys keeping up with football and rugby union, and most things sport. And with two young daughters, he’s enjoying the excuse to take them along to some of the great sporting events London has to offer!
