Ken would bounce between being a ski instructor during the winter season and a scuba dive instructor in the summer months.
In detail:
Across his career, Ken has worked in both consultancy and industry roles across a variety of sectors. Wearing the client hat for many years, has offered Ken an invaluable perspective when working with clients, which allows him to more readily understand their challenges and offer practical solutions.
At Baringa, Ken focuses on helping CFOs transform and optimise their full finance capability, as well as drive change using pragmatic and agile techniques with people-led mindset.
Ken trained as a chartered accountant with one of the big four accountancy firms and began large scale finance transformation programmes within the banking sector during the financial crisis. Moving into industry, he established and ran a new PMO and change function for a large insurance company before moving to Google, where he took a senior, global position supporting the largest ERP migration ever undertaken by any organisation.
Ken believes that collaboration and teaming are critical to a motivated and energised team, and that Baringa’s ‘People First’ approach is truly unique in the management consulting industry and is what sets Baringa apart from other advisory practices.
In his spare time, he enjoys putting his EMCC Coaching Practitioner qualification to good use by helping his clients achieve their personal and professional goals. Ken is also a qualified ski and scuba dive instructor.
