In detail:

Sophie joined Baringa in 2017 after graduating from Cambridge University where she studied French and Spanish.

Since then, she has spent her time focusing on supporting institutions across the private and public sector transform their operations, narrowing down this focus to central Government departments for the last 5 years. She is motivated by supporting the public sector to deliver great services for its citizens, that continue to meet the needs of an everchanging UK population.

In recent years Sophie has centred on the relationship between operational transformation and the deployment of new technologies. She is a passionate believer in the importance of understanding an operations first, by its people and its processes, before investing in technology. She believes this is critical to getting the most from technology implementation. She has seen the impact of this first hand across several engagements in Central Government departments, deploying exciting new technologies that enhance operational people and teams, rather than supersede them.

Sophie is known for the commitment she shows to the things she believes in – determined to get the right outcome for her clients, and in turn UK citizens. She loves working collaboratively with blended teams and will always be the first to run to the whiteboard to think through a problem.

Outside of work Sophie loves playing and watching sport, is an ardent traveller, especially loving hiking in Norway’s fjords, and enjoys a cultural weekend in London’s amazing art galleries and theatres.
